Serial no. 096 4753. Dana is at the top of the list of worldwide cane rod makers and it's well known that his waiting list for a new rod is ~ seven years. The rod remains in unused condition. so it's possible that one may have been replaced at one point

Although it is not an exact replica it is definitely a one of a kind collector piece

For sale here is a 3 1/4" (narrow) Bellinger/Saracione fly reel in near mint + condition

at the male ferrules

Right hand retrieve although the spring is fairly neutral so it could be fished as a lefty as well

The reverse half wells grip measures 5 1/2" in length with moderate soiling

Pawl and gear teeth still in excellent condition

There is also light wear to the varnish

The bag is original and has that wonderful old varnish smell to it
