Cupano, Brunello Montalcino

Cupano, Brunello MontalcinoCamigliano. Darker and bluer than most mid crimson. Interesting, very distinctive nose. Sweet and not that typical. 100% new oak. Not sure its what Im looking for from Brunello but its certainly interesting. Walter is a big fan but admits its modernist credentials.

and that's certainly evident on the nose

Once again firm reduction relegates the underlying fruit to the background
