Per Brandin HB Prototype Tournament Grade 8'5" 2/2 #4A nice Per Brandin Model 85 4 2 hollow built prototype fly rod, 85, 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #4 line. Weighs 3. 0 ounces. Built in 2019. Designated a Tournament Grade which is inked halfway up the butt section, and further down Brandin, 854 2 DF, and HB Prototype 2019 in successive flats in the usual place. The tips are also inked with the the rod data just above each male ferrule. Medium fast full flexing action. Two opposed node pattern

Given the nice size of this model and the power of the Zwarg drag (which was beefier than Vom Hofes) this is a reel that makes the jump very nicely to modern fishing and should fish very well for someone looking to put a classic on their mid-sized spey setup

The short tapered cigar grip is in excellent condition with light ridging

There is a very minor spot of oxidization on the ring near the reel foot though this can easily be polished out

The ferrules are size 11/64 and fit together nice and tightly
