'Giant Step' is an 'electric' album with Mahal supported by a 3 man backing band while the second album is a solo acoustic recording
but I like Auger's instrumental jazz rock tracks - a very fine organist/keyboard player
Some hardened rockers would say 'a guilty pleasure'
it also stands up as a good jazz recording in its own right by Jazz-Soul legend Isaac Hayes
