Eowave Ribbon 2The Ribbon 2 is a tactile instrument which is sensitive to position and pressure. It is interchangeably a 12 bit synth, a USB controller and CV Gate controller, it can be used in many different ways as a solo instrument, to control virtual instruments and iOS or to control analog modular systems and other CV gate devices. The Ribbon comes with a software editor, which allows you to choose from 9 oscillator sources, LFO and FM modulation and delay and

including all odd and non-standard divisions such as /3 and /17 and /62

The addition of clipped overdrive and intentionally aggressive self oscillating resonance compliment the smooth filter core by juxtaposing it into more wasp like territory with acidic squeals and a more gritty sound

Also present from its classic predecessor is a Poly Mod section

The CV output also pushes the exploration further by providing signals to other modules

which can build a beautifully large and lush sound before the use of any additional stereo effects like reverb or delay

and converting MIDI signals to the eurorack world
