Heron Etching Wall Hanging Or Table Top Engraving Decor BirdA hand cut stencil was used for this etching of a Blue Heron. A translucent dye was applied and sealed with epoxy and buffed. Size: 8 inch diameter Loop on back for hanging. The piece is has my initials, a unique number and the year stamped on the back. EJH #14 2018
Frame: 14 inch diameter
the butterfly was then colored and sealed with an epoxy and polished
The center is about 1/2" from the wall and the tips of the leaf curve back towards the wall
Leg: 3 half inch bars
the profiles were cut by hand and the plate was then masked and blasted with abrasive
Pattern: nameless
I have included multiple images in an effort to convey the appearance relative to varied lighting situations
Top: 16 inch diameter
Looks best in a room with lots of light
Color: multi-colored
Clear finish allows light to interact with the pattern that is polished on the substrate
This etching can be hung on the wall or maybe displayed on a bookshelf with an easle (I can make wood or metal easle)
