Geoffrey Swindell Lidded VesselGeoffrey Swindell has an international reputation for working on a relatively small scale making thrown porcelain clay that is then turned, carved and textured before being fired several times with multiple layers of glaze and lustre. Geoffs work is collected across the world and he has work in many permanent museum collections such as the V&A and the National Museum of Wales Approx dimensions height 10cm, max diameter 8cm.

The rectangular box shaped jar is covered in intricate designs incorporating geometric multi coloured pattern looking like textiles design and then the main panels  have grazing deer and stags with bounding hares in a stylised pine forest

in this piece he has gently blended a coloured porcelain into the form of the bowl during the throwing process

This tall footed bowl has been glazed with a zingy yellow glaze contrasted with a pale ash glaze in the centre well and a circle of bronze oxide

Each bottle is a unique shape and every one is glazed in a slightly different combinations of colour
