1943 Salentino Rosso 2021 Six in a Wooden BoxPrimitivo and Aglianico Tre Bicchiere by Gambero Rosso HISTORICAL AND TECHNICAL NOTES This wine is known as The Presidents Wine as it is produced from old vineyards planted with vines pruned using the ancient Alberello system in 1968 by Angelo Maci himself in the La Mea district of Cellino San Marco. At harvest time the Primitivo and Aglianico grapes are carefully selected by handpicking into boxes and then a part of them are dried (Appassimento) in
Alluvial soil with concentration of sand and lime
damp earth
The wine is named after an historic farmhouse located on the estate and is designed to showcase the purity and elegance of Sangiovese
Paraje de Titos -”Paraje de Titos” means Tito’s Place
caressed by light breezes that give healthy air scented with rosemary
The Valpolicella Classico Superiore wine is repassed on the Amarone skins
Color: ruby red shading to garnet
Vinification: Oak barrels up to 36 months before the final blending and bottling
fermentation partly in stainless steel and partly in oak barrels
gentle spice and a
controlled temperature fermentation in steel
