She has tried to capture the image in her minds eye when she is far from home and is dreaming of her favourite places near her home and studio. The market town of Holt is the central focus with its unique, independent shops, and along the top of the picture is the coastline featuring Cley and Weybourne windmills. Dotted all around the picture are the buildings that are special to her such as Voewood,

At the heart of her painting is the West Front with festive decorations and snowfall

and spent most of her childhood re-enacting scenes from the story in her front room with her brother

These beautiful peacocks are also in love
