1958 AJ Royal Floor Lamp by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen in Steel and FabricThis is an AJ Royal Floor Lamp, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen in 1956. It was manufactured in Denmark for the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen in 1958. It is formed of matte painted coated steel and retains its original elliptical fabric shade. The stem is fashioned of solid cast iron. This lamp stands 73. 6 inches in height, 9. 2 inches in width, and 14 inches in depth. The condition is quite good, but remains vintage and will show signs of use

This particular example dates to circa 2015 and came from a prominent bank's headquarters in New York (specifically the executive suite) along with numerous other Carl Hansen pieces such as the CH008 tables
