Vintage French Limoges Fragonard Compact Porcelain Courtship Powder & Mirror Compact UnusedThis is a gorgeous vintage 1940's French Limoges Porcelain mirror powder compact with Fragonard signed hand painted courting scene on lid. It is in mint condition, and has never been used. It is an extremely well made compact of substantial weight, and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. It has a round brass hinged powder case that is in perfect condition. It opens to reveal a clear mirror, as well as the powder compartment with the original unused

and as stated earlier

The piece is hallmarked on the bottom

It's a fabulous find to add to your vintage purse collection

It would make a great addition to any vintage compact collection

This is a beautiful little vintage 1940's gold mesh gate top purse beggars bag or accordion purse that is in excellent condition

but we will leave that to the new owner

In the left hand corner on the front of the compact lid is a triangle shaped cartouche for engraving your initials
