The expansion pack allows you to make patches of various yarn thicknesses to best match your garment's thickness and weight. The Heddle Expansion Pack with three larger heddles with three teeth sizes will allow the original Smaller Darning Loom to mend larger holes in a variety of yarn thicknesses. Instructions included, but can also be found here, as featured on MDK Techniques.
GAUGE: 6 stitches = 1 inch in stockinette stitch with larger needles
