1990s Pair of Royalton Arm Chairs by Philippe Starck for Driade with Fabric UpholsteryThis is a pair of Royalton Armchairs, designed by Philippe Starck, and produced by Driade shortly after the design's introduction in 1988. In the late 1980s, Starck was approached by hotelier Ian Schraeger to design a line of furniture for a new project he was working on, the Royalton Hotel in New York City. These large scale armchairs were designed for the lobby. Each chair features curved front legs in polished cast aluminum and legs of solid beech

with the exception of a couple of minuscule scuffs on the white stand

and has a molded plywood seat and back

Listed for sale is a set of six circa mid 1940s dining chairs designed by Jen Risom and produced by Knoll Associates

It does not include both cabinets

They came from a Herman Miller employee and do not appear to have seen much use

It can not be put into words just how rare each of these cabinets are
