It feels quickly painted and was probably created en plein air while the artist enjoyed the view. There are some nice passages where the oils are layered to create texture. Signed R. Light craquelure in areas but otherwise fine

These were painted around a similar time to ours so it’s likely that this young lady was also painted in Pasadena

The canvas has been relined and bears the marks of its previous frame

This particular piece would’ve been painted around that time - when he returned to Sweden and took his new approach with him
