Alfa Crux Corte Uco 2011Region: Uco Valley, Argentina Varietal: 50% Tempranillo, 35% Malbec & 15% Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Notes: Plums, blackberries, dark chocolate, coffee, tobacco, cedar and licorice are clear elements that are complemented with herbs and spices. Slightly smoky in style and with a long, finishing finish.
The oak feels more conspicuous here compared to the Les Suchots and perhaps it shaves away some of the precision that it might have had
