Vintage Art Deco Automobile Car Clock ELGIN 8 Day Made in USAExcellent example of antique 8 day ELGIN automobile cockpit clock made in USA in 1925 1930. The clock recently was cleaned by the local master clock maker and runs well. The clock face diameter is 70 mm. Comes with a unique art deco style mahogany strand. The stand has a few small cracks due to the age. Dimensions : 6 3 4 inch 4 1 2 inches 4 1 2 inches

The device still has the original flight recording marks from that era (a seal was locking the square aluminum case (the device was opened recently by mistake)

The compass face has 18 mm diameter and a nice hand

In the past the monocular most likely had a leather cover

has  a automatic flint starting system at the bottom and runs with white gas

Dimensions of the dial: 75 mm x 48mm x 8 mm

Good  example of German-silver and iron drawing instruments made in in early 1900's  most likely in Germany and sold by Geo E Watson Co Chicago Illinois

The opsiometer from the back has two scales one in millimeters one in inches

The compass is made of nickel covered brass and has a paper floating card ( with German cardinal points)
