2013 SM1 Sofa by Shelton Mindel for Knoll in Orange LeatherThis is a 2013 production SM1 Sofa, designed by Shelton Mindel and produced by Knoll. The sofa was specially ordered in orange leather with very nice hand feel. It's in terrific condition with only light wear from use. See photos. It measures 61. 5 inches long by 32. 25 inches deep and 25. 5 inches tall. The seat height is 15. 5 inches and arm height is 25. 5 inches.
The table measures 29
The prototypes and drawings have been exhibited and written about extensively in scholarly articles/books
Perhaps this is why Ward Bennett’s designs are considered more de rigueur than ever
which was an expensive option when purchasing new
the same project that was heavily influenced by Charles and Ray Eames
circa 1939
which (unsurprisingly) was featured in the 2012 James Bond film Skyfall
it is in lovely patinated condition with some wear as is often desired for an LCM like this
