1970s CH45 Rocking Chair by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen in BeechThis is a scarce model CH45 Rocking Chair, designed by Hans Wegner in 1965, and manufactured by Carl Hansen & Sn. This example was manufactured in Denmark circa mid 1970s. Its form was inspired by the Shaker rockers that were designed earlier in the 20th century. The chairs construction includes supportive horizontal back slats and still possesses its original danish cord seat. The wood is in wonderful condition and has developed a lovely warm patina
