Samurai Handmade PutterA classic if not iconic design handcrafted by none other than Tohru Yamada. Starts with only the very best carbon steel that is then precision milled. The result is a putter of exquisite feel.

This design appeals to advanced players as well as mid-handicappers alike

The slightly wider sole with a pre-worn leading edge has good sliding / turf interaction properties

which further improves the feel that the material provides

Tadayoshi Yoshimura recommends fitting it with the Fiber Tech DD2 shaft for lower swing speeds and the LD-1 shaft for higher swing speeds

Has a bit less toe hang so ideal for putting strokes with a flatter arc

The clubface is very narrow with a width of 50mm and is designed for the advanced player or as a club helping you to control your swing plane

It is then ground by Master Craftsman Mayuki Takai in keeping with traditional sword making methods

and KBS shafts

handcrafted by Master Yamada-san himself

it is refined with Makino’s own Ice Blast process after grinding and coating

its compactness maintains the specific weights
