1990s Westside Lounge Chair by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll Studio in Multi-Color FabricThis is a Westside Collection Lounge Armchair, initially designed by Ettore Sottsass for KnollStudio in 1983. Not too many of these were produced. This one dates to the 1990s based on the fabric used for the underside. The chair is upholstered in the primary colors of red, yellow and blue. The legs are white and blocky, echoing the silhouette of the piece. It is truly the quintessential mascot for the Memphis movement. This chair measures 28 inches

The teak frame is in excellent condition with some light wear noted
The previous owners were collectors of numerous important art objects and furnishings from the 1980s and 1990s
This particular example retains its 320 Park Avenue label
