1950s Model 4209 by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb Furniture with New Upholstery Set of SixThis is a set of six dining chairs, Model 4209, designed by T. H. Robsjohn Gibbings for Widdicomb Furniture. The chairs were manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan, circa 1950s. Their frames are formed of solid bleached walnut (they appear to be, as they would otherwise be birch), and they have freshly upholstered seats re done in a Knoll textiles off white upholstery. The set consists of two armchairs and four side chairs, as shown. The listed price
There are some light scuffs from use as is expected for chairs of this vintage
They were produced circa 2009 and are appropriately marked and labelled
The wood is also in terrific shape with minimal wear
