This pair of chairs came from Harvard University and is accompanied by thorough documentation showing the chairs in the original context. The chairs were purchased new in 1965 along with countless other iconic furniture for use in the Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. The library is a monumental brutalist form,
This particular sofa came to us from an architect’s estate that contained dozens of other CI Design pieces

This is a gorgeous and very rare original pair
produced by Stow Davis circa 1970s
as the condition overall is terrific
This was produced from 1950-1957 by Herman Miller
The chairs were custom ordered for the executive suite of a corporate office in New York City
The chairs were specified in Oak and have purple fabric upholstered seats
The legs are in excellent condition with some light wear
