1930s Mondaine Red Enamel Compact Purse Silver RARE

1930s Mondaine Red Enamel Compact Purse Silver RAREThis is a very rare burgundy red enamel and silver tone Mondaine compact purse with wristlet. It's a beautiful slim style piece that measures approximately 4 inches by 3 inches. The wristlet has a 4 inch drop from the top of the purse. The piece shows some light signs of wear, scuffs, scratches, and light indentations, mostly to the back of the purse. Still a really stunning piece with it's deep burgundy enamel, and it's silver etched Art Nouveau

with a chrome based case with the lid covered in carved mother of pearl and abalone shell with a central theme of the Taj Mahal

It opens to a glass mirror

It is an unused piece that is in excellent to mint condition

Only one slight indentation to the back

and opens to reveal a good condition framed glass mirror in the lid

It's in great condition

and has two areas to slide in cash

The lighter works well

and comes with two handmade unused powder puffs

This is a absolutely gorgeous antique early 1900's guilloche powder compact purse or dance purse with wristlet chain
