This design is clearly reminiscent of early bauhaus designs such as Le Corbusier's LC2 petit model and works by Mies Van Der Rohe or Marcel Breuer. Condition overall is very good with some light wear from use

there is a very faint remnant of the numbers stamped into the hide that can be seen on the left underside of the chair
The upholstery seems to be very recent
as it used materials such as slate and fine marble
It appears that this was a collaborative work with a top material pattern designed by Ray Eames and Alexander Girard
They also have the Bikini pads
It was specified by Gensler (architects) for the project
we can also have this pair professionally refinished in an ebonized (black) finish
The condition overall is excellent for a vintage example
